Camera depending notes: 

- G7 uses Propset 1 (see http://tinyurl.com/6zbv9b, digic II)
- G7 has adjustable alt-button
- G7 supports Multipartition
- G7 has an ND Filter AND real iris diaphragm (which can be set via photo overrides)

Known issues
- If you switching to record mode while USB is connected using the CHDK extension,
  you may not be able to return to playback mode.
- Long exposure capture works after half shutter and proper AF but fails after  full shutter press without waiting for AF
