AOD/POD
AOD/POD = Mixed Audio-On-Demand / Picture-On-Demand
This is a special version of the Picture-On-Demand tag which allows a music playlist to be specified in addition to a playlist of pictures. There are special options given to control the behaviour of the device - whether the remote control should advance/retreat through the audio playlist or the picture playlist.
It is used for one of two things:
- To generate a picture slideshow that has background music. The remote control moves the user from picture to picture.
- To generate a sequence of "Now Playing" images which are then syncronised to the music being played. The remote control moves the user from track to track.
