Font sizings are still not quite right...

Description

The shorten() function still doesn't quite get the correct sizes for SD/HD browsing modes. This needs to be looked into because it's damn annoying!

Could you perhaps make an admin screen setting of it per previously recorded client? That way, you could either auto-detect the sizing or alter the size specifically for a certain client.

To make this easier for the user it would be a good idea to have a screen which is accessed by the media player itself (instead of the config pages).

The screen could display a normal menu item (something with a good mix of larger letters "m", "w", etc) and then have "increase" or "decrease" buttons which change the font multiplier. This would then be recorded as part of the system config (although, as mvdkleijn suggests, this should be client specific).
